Alessia Fabiani (Alessio Tacchinardi)

Alessia Fabiani (born December 10, 1976 in L'Aquila) is an Italian model and TV frontgirl. After some years as model and with minor participations to TV shows, she became famous as Letterina ("Letter-carrier") in Canale 5's Passaparola. She later participated in the Italian version of The Farm.
In 1994, she started working in the fashion and television scene after having won the previous year's edition of Bellissima, a beauty contest held by Mediaset to compete with Rai's Miss Italia. Her win allowed her to present the show with Alberto Castagna. After some years as a model, and with minor participations in local TV shows, Alessia Fabiani became famous as a Letterina (or 'Letter-carrier') on Gerry Scotti's famous quiz show on Canale 5 (Mediaset), Passaparola in 1999. She remained there till 2002.
In 2003, she was chosen as a model for Maxim's calendar, developed by photographer Roberto Rocco, and in the following year, she was the protagonist of the calendar issued by local sports journal, Controcampo together with Mascia Ferri. This propelled her into the showbusiness scene. In 2005, she was one of the reporters for italian current affairs programme Lucignolo, and together with Alessia Ventura, Mascia Ferri and Giada de Blanck, she took part in the programme On the road. She also worked with Massimo De Luca in Pressing Champions' League and posed for Fapim's calendar.
